Sonia Kruger, the winner of the 2023 TV Week Gold Logie Award, will return as the host of The Voice, guiding a fresh batch of aspiring artists through their journey on the show.

The news was revealed by LeAnn Rimes, renowned for her hit “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” during an exclusive appearance on Sunrise.

“I’m thrilled, I’ve literally been holding this secret for so long, and it feels so good to finally let it out,” she said.

“I got signed when I was 11, I’ve been so I’ve been in this business for 30 years and I think I have a lot of wisdom to pass on.”

LeAnn Rimes expressed that the role of a coach, with its nurturing aspect, feels natural to her at this stage of her life. She anticipates collaborating with the other three judges, believing it will be an exceptional team.

“They all seem so kind and we’re going to have a great time.”

Rimes said the opportunity was “a reflection of the love and support I’ve received from my Australian fans throughout my career.

.“I look forward to returning the love, sharing my experiences, and hearing fresh, promising talent.”

Meanwhile Adam Lambert said: “I am thrilled to be joining the panel of The Voice this season. I have such great memories in Australia and can’t wait to spend some time down under!

“Australia has contributed some iconic talents and artists to pop culture, it’ll be fun to coach the next generation of talent.

“You can expect some killer song selections, fashion fashion fashion, and of course, a win for Team Adam!”

Kate Miller-Heidke said she was “so excited” to join the show and sit next to her other coaches.

“The art and craft of singing has been at the centre of my life and I feel like I have learned some things that might be of help to young or inexperienced performers.

“I’ll be looking for people with the soul of an artist; people with something to say; who make you lean in and want to know more about them.

“And I’m really looking forward to getting to know the other coaches. Bring it on!”

Guy Sebastian, the only returning judge, said it felt “so good” to be back on the talent program.

“Adding the insane talent of LeAnn, Kate and Adam on the show this year is going to be killer!!

“They’re all such amazing, world-class artists who I know will bring something fresh and incredible to the season. Let’s go!”
